Built in 1883, we are overseeing the full refurbishment of this historic Grade 2 listed building. Encompassing the student bedrooms as well as the communal areas, the refurbishment must comply with the new operator’s specification, and be completed for the upcoming academic year, September 2023.

Key Challenges

  • The are considerable site constraints, with access into the site via very narrow roads and paths
  • Already used as student accommodation, so negotiations were needed with all tenants to achieve Vacant Possession
  • The current programme is targeted to complete all the works within 34 weeks to limit the programme to 1 academic year
