Located on council owned land with a total site area of 1.48 acres, this extra care project will see us act as Development Manager for Bmor on the delivery of a 63 unit apartment scheme with a total building area of 58,000 sqft. Creating an enabling and accessible environment which facilitates independent living is a key priority for the project.

Key Challenges

  • Incorporation of specific HAPPI Design Principles that underpin both the residents’ experience and access to Homes England grants
  • Coordination of the varied requirements of the Registered Provider, Surrey County Council and the residents themselves, to ensure the proposals remain appropriate and viable throughout the delivery process
  • Tight access to site through an existing residential area requiring detailed analysis of construction logistics, methodology and design to minimise the impact on the local community
